Aenon was founded on a specific insight: Eucheuma denticulatum's ι-carrageenan gel-forming property makes it impossible to ferment in liquid phase at commercial scale — but this same property, combined with the right solid-state fermentation process and strain selection, can produce a highly bioactive methane-reducing feed ingredient.

This is the basis of our KIPO patent application. The chain of necessity — species selection → gel-formation → SSF requirement → temperature constraint → strain selection — is both the core innovation and the patent strategy.

We operate on an evidence-first principle: we distinguish clearly between what is verified (GREEN), what is research-in-progress (YELLOW), and what we do not claim (RED). This transparency is both ethical and strategically important for regulatory credibility.

Mission & Values

Evidence-First Climate Science
for Ruminant Livestock

🔬
Evidence-First
Every efficacy claim is labelled by evidence tier. We do not over-state in-vitro results or forecast commercial outcomes without data.
🌊
Natural-Origin
100% seaweed-derived, SSF-processed. No synthetic active ingredients. Bromoform-free by species selection, not chemical treatment.
📋
Regulatory Clarity
Building toward Korea Feed Act registration with a clean evidence dossier. Subsidy eligibility communicated accurately with caveats.
🌏
Korea–Vietnam
Supply chain grounded in Vietnam's commercial seaweed aquaculture, with R&D and manufacturing in Korea.
Team & Expertise

The Team Behind AenoFeed SC-1

Aenon brings together expertise in fermentation microbiology, ruminant nutrition, regulatory affairs, and Vietnam seaweed supply chain.

Aenon is an early-stage company. Full team biographies, including names and CVs, are available to qualified institutional partners and investors under NDA. The following describes the expertise domains represented on the Aenon team.
F
Founding & Strategic Leadership
Business Development · Investor Relations · Korea–Vietnam Operations
The founding team brings experience in climate-tech venture formation, agricultural supply chain management between Korea and Vietnam, and science communication for B2B ingredient commercialisation. The founding insight — the gel-formation constraint as a patent opportunity — originated from direct observation of large-scale seaweed processing failures using liquid fermentation approaches in Vietnam.

R
R&D — Fermentation Microbiology
SSF Process · Strain Development · Bioactive Compound Analysis
The R&D team includes expertise in lactic acid bacteria fermentation, solid-state process engineering, and seaweed carbohydrate chemistry. The development of the proprietary dual-strain combination was driven by systematic thermotolerance screening of candidate strains for activity at 45°C on carrageenan-rich seaweed substrates. Both strains are formally deposited and characterised; their identity is documented in the KIPO patent application and will be disclosed upon grant.

Ruminant Nutrition & Regulatory Affairs
In-Vivo Trial Design · Korea Feed Act · MAFRA Liaison
The ruminant nutrition and regulatory expertise covers: in-vivo trial design (crossover studies, respiration chamber methodology), Korea Feed Act registration pathway, MAFRA (Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Rural Affairs) submission requirements, and international methane measurement standards (GWP100, Tier 1/2/3 IPCC methodologies). This expertise informs both the Q4 2026 in-vivo trial design at SNU Pyeongchang and the regulatory submission dossier preparation.
