The core product, SeaTrace™ SC-1, is a solid-state fermented (SSF) feed additive derived from selected red seaweed species. In preliminary in-vitro rumen fermentation assays, SeaTrace™ SC-1 showed approximately 50% CH₄ reduction versus control.

How does SeaTrace™ SC-1 reduce methane?

SeaTrace™ SC-1 acts via a dual mechanism: (1) marine bioactive compounds directly suppress methanogenic archaea in the rumen, and (2) SSF fermentation metabolites redirect metabolic hydrogen toward propionate production instead of methane synthesis. Both pathways are bromoform-free and naturally derived.

Is the methane reduction validated in live animals?

Current evidence is preliminary in-vitro (rumen fermentation assay). In-vivo validation is planned at Seoul National University Pyeongchang campus in Q4 2026 using a 6-head crossover design measuring CH₄, FCR, and VFA simultaneously.
